or maybe It was because I was drinking but I ordered the blackberry curve last night. I should get it in around 5 days. I did get a smoking deal since they wanted 299 for the phone and a 2 year contract. I asked for a 1 year contract and the lady informed me that it then came up in her system as 180 for the phone :) Yes please send it to me

Rackspace hosting

Well true to their email they did credit me back 2300 and some change today. I don’t know what the problem was getting ahold of something who could make something happen but as soon as I did things went quickly and easily. Too bad I have soured on them because of being told people would call me back and never having that happen. It just goes to show you that follow up is important.

blackberry phones

Decisions decisions, Now I hear that the blackberry bold might only go at&t, I can’t see this happening as RIM has never given a company an exclusive before. But now the decision is wait for the bold or go with the curve.

Add now that there is a new blackberry device on the horizon called the thunder But Apparantly it is only going to be verizon.

Why can’t the manufacturer just release a statement of who and when the carriers will be, instead of everyone speculating.
I’ve sent an email to tmobile to see but I doubt they will respond with an answer

Blackberry bold 9000

Well they announced it today, and it is the phone I want, however they are still a little cryptic as far as when it will be released. They officially haven’t said anything relating to carriers, however sites in the know all state that it will be AT&T first and tmobile second. AT&T is supposed to be summer, which as far as I’m concerned means July, august, september with tmobile soon afterwards. I am on Tmobile and need to wait for it since AT&T does not have coverage at my house. Also I really like Tmobiles @home product where you can call via your wifi if its available, I just wish they had VOIP rates to Canada and overseas. It would it make a much better product if they gave you a deal on those.

So the decision is still out there, buy a curve now, or wait for the bold…… I’m not very good at waiting but I really want the Bold.

New Puppy

We got another new puppy. I don’t know why, except for it was a good deal. We really didn’t need more dogs but I had a momment of weekness and let this one slide through. I think my wife has it down to a science, she sends me dogs for weeks which are between 200 and 300. Then she finds one for cheap and I go for it because its better than paying a bunch for it.

This one is a very cute dog, and a very large dog. Great Pyrenes purebred, about 6 months old, and probably is about 65 lbs right now. We did get him for free which is a great deal for a purebred and he does seem like a very good dog, however undertrained that he is.

The other dogs are currently being very mean to him but no fights, just the standard putting him in his place so that there is no misunderstanding on where he is on the totem pole. However I’m sure that will change some as he grows. I post some pictures tomorrow.

Whatever you do never host with them, the machines they set up for you are so old they go down all the time, also trying to cancel your account is impossible, I have sent numerous emails and called every month and still I cannot get my account cancelled.

cell phones

I need/want a new cell phone. I want to get out of my tmobile dash and back into the sweet embrase of a crackberry. I used to have one and now want it back, The email functions so well compared to windows mobile. I’m tired of not getting connections or loosing connections with active sync, that never happened with the blackberry.

My big decision now is what to do. I can go to tmobile and get the Blackberry curve 8320 and be happy, it looks like a really good device, however they are also coming out soon with the Blackberry 9000. They haven’t announced when yet, but it looks like a good phone and its 3g, which since tmobile is currenlty deploying a 3g network it would be a great phone to have. I’d like to wait for it, but if its going to be a year then I might as well get the curve now and upgrade later.

back home again

Well I survived the golf trip, I am burnt to a crisp and golfed like crap however I had a great time. It was anything from cold, it was a little chilly in the mornings but by afternoon was smoking hot.

The courses were fantastic and the people made the trip, I definitely going to try to go again next year.

Sided our shed

So after the house construction we had alot of siding left over, we then decided that we would side the shed that has been sitting on the property and has only been rough plywood.

It was alot more work than I thought it would be however we did finish it in one weekend. We also put in two windows that they removed from the house when they did the addition
